Ms Lozoya - 5th & 6th Grade SDC

Ms. Lozoya

Hello! My name is Ms. Kristina Lozoya. This is my third year working as the 5th and 6th grade SDC teacher here at Mountain View Elementary School. I was born and raised right here in Riverside and ever since I was a little girl, I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. After completing my high school education, I set out to pursue my dream. I graduated from California State University, San Bernardino in 2013 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and an emphasis in Art. It was during my time at CSUSB that I discovered my passion for working with students with special needs. After I finished my undergraduate degree, I decided to continue my education at California Baptist University where I received my Mild/Moderate Special Education teaching credential and my Master’s Degree in Education, with a concentration in Special Education. I am passionate about my job and I believe every student has the ability to learn when they are given the tools they need to succeed. My goal is to make sure that my students realize their potential and I am always determined to find ways to make their school experience engaging and memorable. I am very enthusiastic about my job and come to work everyday excited to work with my students. I’m so proud to be a part of the incredible staff on campus and I am looking forward to working with the amazing students at Mountain View.
