My name is Brandi Palacios and I am currently teaching 5th grade in the Virutal Progra I earned my Master’s degree in education as well as my multiple subject teaching credential from the University of California Riverside. During this time, I completed my student teaching at Columbia Elementary in Val Verde School District. I received my Bachelor’s degree in English from UCR as well. I was a substitute teacher with Riverside Unified in the year prior to teaching third. I also substituted for Colton Joint and Covina-Valley Unified School Districts for about three years. I am married Mt. View’s Mr. Palacios who I met at UCR. Our son is also attending Mt. View this year as a kindergartener in the DLI program. I love hiking, cooking, baking, dancing, spending time with family, and trying new food. As a family, we love reading, going to museums, having movie or game nights, and trying new acitivities. My family and I greatly value education as we understand the power of knowledge and education’s ability to transform the lives of students and their families by creating a window for upward mobility. I hope to have a positive and lasting impact on each of my students. My goal is to create a safe and positive learning environment where students value one another and work together. I believe in working closely with families and students to help them achieve their goals in and out of school.
